Installation/Wiring
This chapter provides information on mounting and wiring the PowerFlex® 527
drives.
Most start-up difficulties are the result of incorrect wiring. Every precaution must
be taken to assure that the wiring is done as instructed. All items must be read and
understood before the actual installation begins.
Mounting Considerations
•
Mount the drive upright on a flat, vertical and level surface.
•
Protect the cooling fan by avoiding dust or metallic particles.
•
Do not expose to a corrosive atmosphere.
•
Protect from moisture and direct sunlight.
