The following diagnostic items can be accessed using DriveExplorer
(version 3.01 or higher).
Net B Status Indicator

Off
The adapter is not
powered, or is not
transmitting on the
network.
If Net A indicator is off:
•
Securely connect the adapter to the drive
using the Internal Interface (ribbon) cable and
to the network using an Ethernet cable.
•
Correctly connect the Ethernet cable to the
Ethernet connector.
•
Set a unique IP address using a BOOTP
server or by disabling BOOTP and using
adapter parameters.
If Net A indicator is solid red:
•
Configure the adapter to use a unique IP
address and cycle power.
If Net A indicator is flashing red:
•
Check the IP address in the adapter and
scanner.
•
Ping the adapter.
Normal condition if the adapter is idle.
Flashing
Green
The adapter is transmitting
on the network.
No action required.
