To dial in to a conference

16. As Buddy-1, press the ‘#’ key twice. Then press the ‘3’ key once.
Verify that Buddy-1 hears a prompt stating there are 2 people in this call, and
then hears the names of both callers.
17. Hang up all phones.
Verify proper blue phone icons and close all IM windows.
To dial in to a conference
1. Open a conversation window.
2. As Buddy-1, click
Email Invitations/View Dial-in Number
under
I want to...
in the
conversation window.
3. Write down the leader and participant access codes.
4. Dial in to the system’s main number.
Verify that you hear the “Welcome” prompt.
5. Enter the leader’s access code and press the ‘#’ key once.
Verify that you hear the “At the tone, please state your name” prompt.
6. State the leader’s name, and press the ‘#’ key once.
Verify that you hear the “You are the only person in this conference. Please stay
on the line.” prompt.
If Music on Hold was configured, verify that you hear the “To turn off the music,
press 1” prompt.
Verify that you hear Music On Hold.
7. From a second phone, dial in to the system’s number.
Verify that you hear the “Welcome” prompt.
8. Enter the participant’s access code and press the ‘#’ key once.
Verify that you hear the “At the tone, please state your name” prompt.
9. State the participant’s name and press the ‘#’ key once.
Verify that the caller hears the “One moment while your call is being
connected” prompt.
Verify that the participant is taken into the conference.
Verify that the leader is taken off “Music On Hold”, and placed into the call.
Verify that the leader and both participants hear the participant’s name spoken
when joining the conference.
10. From a third phone, connected internally, dial into the system.
Verify that this third caller hears the “welcome” prompt.
