4.15.1.7.2 Diagnostic file
To display the diagnostics
1. With My IC Social Networks running, click on the information icon
This is a small icon
at bottom right corner of the My IC Social Networks Panel
2. Click on “Diagnostics”
3. You can click on Export to produce a file that can be renamed and saved on your disk.
The file contains diagnostic information that can be provided to the Technical Support.
4.15.1.7.3 Log files
These files can be used for deep investigations by Alcatel-Lucent technical experts.

The logs in Windows XP are written to:
C:\Documents
and
Settings\<user>\Local
Settings\Application
Data\Alcatel Lucent\Social Networks\log.fdb

The logs in Windows Vista & Windows 7 are written to:
C:\Users\<user>\Application
Data\Local\Alcatel
Lucent\Social
Networks\log.fdb
4.15.1.7.4 Communication Add-ins
Add-ins are third party tools that integrate seamlessly with Outlook. To find the add-ins:

Outlook 2010:
File >Options >Add-Ins > Manage Comm Add-ins and click Go

Outlook 2007:
Tools > Trust Centre > Add-Ins > Manage Comm Add-ins and Click Go

Outlook 2003:
Tools > Options >Other >Advanced Options > COM Add-In
How to use the information:

If My IC Social Networks is registered with Outlook. It will appear in this list.

If My IC Social Networks is successfully loaded then it will be checked and the load
behavior label will say
loaded at start up

If My IC Social Networks does not successfully load, the tick box will be unchecked and an
error message is displayed against the load behavior label.
