11. Move CHOKE lever to "HALF"

12. Pull the starter string quickly unless the engine
starts.
13. Warm up the engine for 10 seconds. Then depress
and release trigger (15/1) for IDLE.
14. Move the CHOKE lever to "RUN“

4.1.2 Warm
Start
1.
Set red stop switch to "I”.
2. Move the CHOKE lever to "HALF“
.
3. Depress the primer bulb (11/1) 10 times, once in ca
2 seconds.
4. Depress the latch (12/1) and hold it depressed.
5. Depress the throttle trigger (12/2) and hold it de-
pressed.
6. Now depress the latch (12/1) completely down.
7. Release the throttle trigger (12/2) and then the latch
(12/1). The throttle trigger and the latch are blocked
now.
8. Assume safe and firm position and put the chain
saw onto the ground so that the guide bar is not lim-
ited by anything.
9. Put you right tiptoe to the rear handle.
10. Pull starter rapidly 4 times. Beware of moving chain.
11. Move CHOKE lever to "RUN"
.
12. Then depress and release trigger (15/1) for IDLE.

Switching off the Engine

Set red stop switch to "STOP”.

Chain Brake Operational Test
Test the chain brake periodically to ensure
proper function.
1. Place saw on a clear, firm, flat surface and then
start the engine.
2. Grasp the rear handle with your right hand and with
left hand, hold the front handle safely and firmly.
3. Let the engine run at mid revs.
4. Squeeze the chain brake lever (17/1) to the front.
The saw chain must stop abruptly.
5. Then depress trigger for IDLE and release the chain
brake.
If the chain does not stop, turn engine off and
take your unit to the nearest authorized service
centre for service. The saw must not be used.
5 Maintenance
Before any maintenance works on the chain
saw:

Stop the engine and allow it cool a little,
−
Unplug the connector of the sparking plug,
−
Wear protective gloves.
5.1 Saw
Chain
Sharpening
For non-experienced users of the chain saw, we
recommend to have the chain sharpened by a
specialist in any authorised service.
Never work with a blunt or damaged saw chain. As a
result of the work with a blunt or damaged saw chain,
there may appear huge physical tiredness, wrong cut and
high chain wear.
