About the AIC
The AIC is a device that controls instruments and acquires data
digitally. It is for use in client/server environments only. Each AIC
can control and acquire digital data from up to 4 GC or LC
instruments, or up to 16 analog channels of data (A/D required), up
to 2 photodiode array detectors (PDA) or combinations of the
above.

Note
There are three versions of the AIC: The
AIC 5000 is black in color and has
“Instrument Controller 5000” stenciled on
the front of the unit. Revision B is silver
in color and is marked with a “Revision
B” sticker on the rear. Revision A has
limited instrument support for versions
after
EZChrom Elite Revision 3.2.1. It is
black in color and is marked with a
“Revision A” sticker on the rear or has no
sticker. AIC Rev A is not covered in this
document.
Note
The AIC is shipped with a USB memory
stick, which is required for software
installation and updates. Please keep this
in a safe place for future use.
