stick. (Note: Do NOT copy the entire Elite folder from the root
of the CD!) When finished, the USB memory stick should look
similar to the following:

Options CD may vary for later versions.
Step 2. Preliminary setup
1. Attach a monitor, keyboard, and mouse (see Figure 2). This is
temporary for the purpose of installing and configuring the AIC
5000 only. They should be removed once the AIC 5000 is
installed and configured.
2. Verify that the 115/230 VAC voltage selector is set properly for
your location
(see Figure 2).
3. Attach the power and network connections. Be sure to use the
built-in network port indicated in Figure 2 at the bottom of the
unit. The PCI network interface card installed in the AIC 5000
card slot is reserved exclusively for connecting instruments to
the unit.
