10.  Connect ignition pickup sensor cable and secure 

connection with an Aeroworks Safety Clip.  

11.  Using  nylon ties, install the ignition battery in-

side motor box as shown.  

12.  Using a small piece of hook and loop material, 

secure the Smart-Fly ignition regulator to the mo-
tor box side.  

13.  Final ignition regulator installation shown be-

low.  

14.  Slide switch into switch mount as shown. It may 

be necessary to increase switch mounting hole 
depending on switch brand.  

 

Note: 

Internal switch mounts have been built into the 

 

fuselage for both the radio and ignition 

 

switches. Using these switch mounting  

 

locations will require removal of the canopy.  

15.  Use a 1/16” drill bit to drill switch mounting 

holes as shown.
