Save
button to enact the current setup.
The Video Loss icon
appears on the live video screen if the current channel has the Video
Loss alarm enabled.
Note:
•
There is no Detection Region, Sensitivity or Anti-dither setup for Video Loss.
•
Video Loss is only enabled during the time period set. It is disabled for Motion Detection and
Camera Masking.

Camera Masking
The Camera Masking feature alerts you when someone maliciously masks the lens, or the output
video is in monochrome due to a change in ambient light.
To set up a Camera Masking event:
1.
Open the Motion Detect screen by selecting
Main Menu > Setting > Detect
. The Detect
screen opens.

In the Event Type area, select the drop-down menu and select
Camera Masking
.

In the
Channel
area, select the channel you want to set up from the drop-down list.

Check the
Enable
checkbox to enable the Camera Masking feature for this channel.
5.
In the
Period
area, select the
Setup
button. The Setup dialog opens for setting the time
period during which Camera Masking will be a trigger event.
