Video Overlay 

The Overlay screen provides options to be displayed over the video screen.

Channel 

Select a single channel number from the dropdown list. 

Cover-Area (Privacy Mask) 

This setting enables a privacy mask for the specified video in the Preview (live) or Monitor (playback) 
video. The system supports a maximum of 4 privacy mask zones  

To enable this feature in live mode, check the Preview box; or to enable in the recorded file for 
playback, check the Monitor box, and then click the 

Setup

 button. 

Channel Display 

Enable this function to overlay the channel name in the video window. The name appears in the live 
video or the playback video. 

Click the 

Setup

 button. A field appears for you to enter the desired name. Use the mouse to drag the 

Channel Name to the desired position.  

Time Display 

Enable this function to overlay the time stamp in the video window. The name appears in the live 
video or the playback video. 

Click the 

Setup

 button. Use the mouse to drag the Time icon to the desired position.
