Resolution
The system supports various resolutions, you can select from the dropdown list. The main stream
supports 960H/D1/HD1/2CIF/CIF/QCIF and the extra stream supports CIF/QCIF.
Frame Rate (FPS)
This ranges from 1f/s to 25f/s in NTSC mode and 1f/s to 30f/s in PAL mode.
Bit Rate Type
The system supports two types: Constant Bit Rate (CBR) and Variable Bit Rate (VBR). In VBR mode,
you can set video quality.
Quality
There are six levels ranging from 1 to 6. The sixth level has the highest image quality.
Audio/ Video
Use this checkbox to enable or disable the video/audio.
Overlay
Click the
Overlay
button to open the Overlay dialog, which determines whether the following items
are displayed on the monitor screen.

Cover Area (Privacy Mask).
This section is for setting the Privacy Mask. In the dialog, use
your mouse to set the desired mask size and location. In single channel video mode, the
system supports a maximum of 4 zones in one channel.

Preview/Monitor.
Privacy mask has two types: Preview and Monitor. Preview means the
Privacy Mask zone cannot be viewed by user when in live video mode. Monitor means the
Privacy Mask zone cannot be view by the user when in playback mode.

Time Display.
Select whether the time is displayed during playback. Click the
Set
button
and then drag the title to the corresponding position in the screen.

Channel Display.
Select whether the system displays the channel number during playback.
Click the
Set
button and then drag the title to the corresponding position in the screen.
Snapshot
Click the
Snapshot
button to set snapshot mode, picture size, quality and frequency.
