You can assign a subscriber name to each xDSL port. You configure xDSL subscriber names
from the
::service=>
prompt. From the
::root=>
prompt, type the following command
then press to display the

prompt.

From the ::service=> prompt, type the new command in the following format then press

new <port> (<name>|"<name with spaces>")
Parameter

The port for which you want to assign a subscriber name (format slot.port).
(<name>|"<name with spaces>")

text string can contain any characters and can be any length. However, if you
include quotation marks in the

text string, the quotation marks must be preceded by
a backward slash (\). You can use multiple words separated by an underscore.
