Setting
PIN code lock
Allows you to prevent the projector from being operated by unauthorized person. The following options are available:
Off...... Unlocked.
On ...... Requires to enter a PIN code every time turning on the projector.
Whenever you change the PIN code setting or the PIN code (a three-digit number), you are required to
enter the PIN code. “111” is set a the initial PIN code at the factory. To change the PIN code setting, press
SELECT to pop up the PIN code dialog box.

to to fix the number and move the cursor. The number changes to “*”.
If you fixed an incorrect number, move the cursor to the number you want to correct by pressing the
◄
button, and then
select the correct number by pressing
▲
/
▼
button.
Repeat this step to complete entering a three-digit number.
After entering the three-digit number, move the cursor to “Set”. Press SELECT, and you can start to operate the projector.
If you entered an incorrect PIN code, the PIN code and the number (***) turn red. Enter the correct PIN code all over
again.
Change the PIN code lock setting

to select “Off” or “On”, and then press SELECT for confirmation.
PIN code change
Logo PIN code can be changed to your desired three-digit number. Press SELECT to select “Change the PIN code”.
The corresponding confirmation box pops up. Then, press

/
▼
to enter a correct code. A dialog box of “New PIN
code” shows up for you to set a new code.
Caution:
When you have changed the logo PIN code, write down the new doe in the “New code” column of the “Startup logo”
on P57, and keep it securely. Should the PIN code be lost or forgotten, the startup logo PIN code can no longer be
changed.
