Installation and Mounting

7.2.1

Place of Installation

When choosing a place for the installation of

BOP xD

, take the following points into

account:

NOTICE

The

BOP xD

may not be subjected to direct weather effects.



The mounting spot must be sufficiently ventilated to avoid condense

water and trapped heat.



Access for connecting peripheral devices, maintenance and data

storage replacement must be provided.



Unauthorised persons should have no direct access to the device.

The installation spot must be freely accessible at all times and it must not disturb the

driver’s work. The necessary power sources, IBIS data cables, video camera cables

and other required equipment must be available at the place of installation.

Good installation places are:



The roof coving above the driver



The roof coving above the front passenger seats
