BOP xD Basic Functions
The system can digitally record up to 16 analogue video signals (PAL or NTSC) in
MPEG4/H264 format as well as 2 audio tracks simultaneously in real time. The
system can record the current GPS position data together with additional information
that is being sent by the surrounding system.

The recording of the data starts by switching the ignition on or by a digital input
wiring (wake-up function).
The data is deposited to a ring buffer (controlled either by capacity or by time).
Alarm data is stored in a secure area of the ring buffer that cannot be overwritten.
