3. Screw the mounting ears on the Net-Net 6300 into the equipment rack using
four rack screws. One person should hold the Net-Net 6300 in the correct
position, and another person should screw the Net-Net 6300 in place.
Fan Module Installation
The fans are pre installed in the Net-Net 6300 when it ships. There is no need to
remove a fan prior to installation. In case this part needs service or replacement, you
can remove and replace it with a functioning one.
Ground and Power Cable Installation
The Net-Net 6300 must be properly grounded to ensure efficient system
performance. Grounding your Net-Net chassis is an extremely important part of the
installation and maintenance procedures. Physical harm or problems with system
functionality may occur on Net-Net 6300 that are not properly grounded. If your
Net-Net 6300 is not properly grounded, it can exhibit unpredictable problems such
as:

Garbled output on the console display
•
Sudden crashes
•
Physical damage to the Net-Net chassis and its hardware components
Caution Failure to ground the chassis properly can result in permanent
damage to the Net-Net 6300 and its components. Bodily harm
may also result under some circumstances.
Caution The Net-Net 6300 does not support mixing AC and DC power
supplies in the same chassis. A mixed power configuration is
prohibited.
