Table
6-7. Current Clock Source Parameters
Parameter Description
Possible
Values
(Read-only)
Active clock
Displays the currently active clock source:
•
Master – Timing is derived from the
master (primary) clock source.
•
Fallback – Timing is derived from the
fallback (secondary) clock source.
•
None – No clock source id currently
defined/available.
For more information about clock modes
and their function, refer to
Master
Fallback
None
Source
Displays the type of the clock source:
•
Internal – the clock is provided by an
internal oscillator.
•
RX clock – the clock is derived from the
incoming traffic of one of the unit's
ports.
•
Recovered – the clock is recovered from
the PSN over a dedicated PW connection
Internal
RX clock
Recovered
Port type
Type of the port that is used by the clock
source. Relevant only if the clock source
type is RX clock; read-only.
E1/T1
IMA-Group
SHDSL
Port number
Number of the port that is used by the
clock source. Relevant only if the clock
source type is RX clock.
1–4/8/16 for E1/T1
1–4/8/16 for
IMA-Group
1–4 for SHDSL
Recovered ID
ID of the clock recovery stream. Valid only
for the Recovered source type (see above).
1
Clock state
Free indicates that the clock state machine
is not locked and uses the internal oscillator
Fine Locked indicates that the clock state
machine is locked
Rapid Locked indicates that the clock state
machine is in pre-locking
Hold Over indicates that the clock state
machine is in hold over mode due to a loss
event

Qualified Clock
Qualified. The phase is locked and the
frequency is acceptable.
Disqualified. The clock recovery spent more
than 100 seconds to lock the phase. The
frequency is outside the permitted range.
