Parameter Description

IP translation
Enables translating the IP address of
Node B.
Note: IP translation cannot be enabled if:
•
The router interface is configured over
the Ethernet port used by the PPPoE.
•
The router interface is configured over
this PPPoE entity.
•
The translated IP address does not have
a route
•
The translated IP address does have a
route but is pointing to an Ethernet port,
which is either configured as a bridge
port, or has peers defined to it.

Translated IP
address
The original IP address of the Node B, being
translated while receiving/transmitting
traffic.
Note:
•
This parameter only shows if IP
Translation is enabled.
•
The IP address cannot be changed on
the fly.
0.0.0.0 –
255.255.255.255
Default: 0.0.0.0
The PPPoE parameters can be changed dynamically (on-the-fly).
Binding the PPPoE Interface
To bind the interface to the PPPoE protocol, configure the following parameters:

Configuration> Logical layer> PPPoE> Bind Interface
