8.2

Spread and Protocol Handling

The utility software can be used to manage spread- and protocol-files for a Terrameter
LS. Administration of the files on the instrument is done with the “Protocol Handling”
dialog. It is also possible to convert older files to Terrameter LS compatible files.

Select the “Protocols/Transfer Spread and Protocol Files” menu item to open the
“Terrameter LS Protocol Handling” dialog.

As noted above (8.1) the correct instrument network address must be set up.

Before any file handling functions are made active a communication must be
established with the instrument. Clicking “List spreads and protocols” will fill the two
lists with the installed spreads and protocols in the instrument and also make the file
handling functions active (Figure 86).
