Hazardous material
The table specifies some of the materials in the product and their respective use
throughout the product.
Dispose components properly to prevent health or environmental hazards. Follow
national standards and regulations.
Example application
Material
Cable, motor, transformer, tip, shunt and electrode
holder.
Copper
Gears, screws and nuts.
Steel
Cover, screws for primary connection of transformer.
Stainless steel
Cables, connectors, hoses and bushings.
Plastic/rubber
Grease in motor
Oil, grease
Covers, synchronization brackets, arms and interface
bracket.
Aluminium
Oil and grease
Where possible, arrange for oil and grease to be recycled. Dispose of via an
authorized person/contractor in accordance with local regulations. Do not dispose
of oil and grease near lakes, ponds, ditches, down drains, or onto soil. Incineration
must be carried out under controlled conditions in accordance with local regulations.
Also note that:
•
Spills can form a film on water surfaces causing damage to organisms.
Oxygen transfer could also be impaired.
•
Spillage can penetrate the soil causing ground water contamination.
