4.2 Maintenance planning
General procedure
Even though the GWT C9 is designed to require few maintenance operations, it is
important to follow the maintenance time intervals and instructions to ensure a
fully functional and long living product.
Note
All maintenance procedures could be performed when the welding gun is still
attached to the robot or pedestal.

Action
If the welding gun is attached to a robot, move the robot so the welding gun is posi-
tioned in a good working position.

Make sure that all safety aspects are considered before performing any maintenance.

Most maintenance operations requires that the protective cover is removed. This is
done by unscrewing the knurled screw (pos. 1) and remove the pressure washer
(pos. 2) keeping the protecting cover (pos.3) in place.

Perform the required maintenance operations.

Make sure that the working space is cleaned and that all equipment is removed before
restarting the welding.
