2.5.3 Water cooling system
Requirements
The input and output water circuits should be equipped with manual valves. To
avoid water leaks, it is recommended to install a bleeder system in order to release
the pressure in the cooling circuit before maintenance operation.

Cooling water must be free of contaminants. The flow passages in the welding gun can become
blocked by contaminants causing restricted water flow and overheating. Use only neutral water
without chlorides, sulfates etc.
WARNING
To ensure the lifetime of diodes in the transformer, the transformer must be
cooled in the correct way by water flow.
Welding without water supply, or with predefined values lower than minimal water
flow, is strictly forbidden.
