Load transfer from inverter mode to
maintenance bypass

HE OPERATIONS DESCRIBED IN THIS CHAPTER MUST BE PERFORMED BY A SERVICE ENGINEER OF THE
MANUFACTURER OR BY AN AGENT CERTIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER
In case of maintenance or service intervention, the load can be transferred to “MAINTENANCE BYPASS”
(Operation usually required only in case of intervention to be performed on the frames).
Situation of UPS parallel system before starting
the procedure:
The load is protected by DPA 250 S4 UPS running
in normal operation.
All Modules operating on INVERTER mode!
LED indicators status on all modules
Display on all modules
LED INDICATION

1. Transfer the load from INVERTER to STATIC
BYPASS mode by means of one module dis-
play or the general TFT display installed on
the frame.
Under the “COMMAND” menu select “LOAD
TO BYPASS” (If required, enter the password
in case the command is performed through
the TFT display).
2. Verify that all the modules in the parallel sys-
tem are now operating in STATIC BYPASS
mode.
