type from the list. Select the your modem from the list and click
OK
.
Your modem is now ready to use!

Accessing Your
Internet Service
Provide
This section explains how to set up your modem to access the Internet or
remote Local Area Networks (LANs) using Windows 95/98 Dial-U
Networking. To access Internet Service Providers (ISPs) or remote LANs
you must do the following:
Step One: Determine if Dial-Up Networking is Installed

On the Control Panel, double-click
Network
. The “Network”
window
will appear

Return to the Control Panel and double-click
Add/Remove Programs
to
open the “Add/Remove Programs Properties” window.

Click the
Windows Setup
tab.

Communications.
The following window appears
If Dial-Up Adapter Do this
Is listed
Go to the section "Installing TCP/IP Support" to install Dial-Up
Networking.
Is not listed
Go to Step 3 below.
