Chapter 4 - System Functions

Confidential and Proprietary Information of ZTE CORPORATION

•

Connection failure procedure: It allows OB06 to give BSC an indication
that an activated dedicated-channel has been disconnected.

•

Physical environment content request/confirmation procedure: It
allows BSC to obtain physical parameters of a specific channel.

Generally, it happens before a change to the channel. This procedure is
optional.

•

SACCH fill-in information change procedure: It allows BSC to instruct
OB06 to change the fill-in information (system message) on a specific

SACCH.
