Update system software
When your YotaPhone responds slowly or abnormally, you can update your YotaPhone's system
software wirelessly to improve its performance.
Update manually
On the Home screen, tap
> Settings > About phone > System update > Update.
Your YotaPhone will check if a new update is available on the server. When a new update
is available, a screen will pop up on your YotaPhone to tell you the new release version
number and size. If you agree to update Your YotaPhone, tap Ok to download and update
your YotaPhone's system software.

2. Tap Set date.
3. Tap Done to save your setting.

Connect your YotaPhone to a Wi-Fi network and switch Mobile data off
because system update or downloading software may result in data traffic
costs because of large amounts of data transfer.
Before updating your YotaPhone, ensure your YotaPhone is connected to a Wi-
Fi network. When updating your YotaPhone system, do not switch your
YotaPhone off. If an update is cancelled before completion, the system
software may become damaged.
1. On the Home screen, tap
> Settings > About phone > System update.
2. Tick Auto update. Your YotaPhone's system software will be updated when a new
update is available.
