You can also switch between silent, vibration and normal mode by pressing the volume
buttons on the Home screen.
2.11. Swipe down for notifications and status icons
Notifications and status icons are displayed on the top of the screen. Notifications are
displayed at the top left corner, alerting you to the arrival of new messages, incoming
calls, calendar events and so on. Status icons are displayed at the top right corner,
indicating for instance wireless connectivity and the battery status.
To open and view the notifications, swipe down the notifications drawer from the top of
the screen.
Tap notifications to perform corresponding operations, such as calling back, sending a
message or checking events in Calendar.
To dismiss all the notifications, tap
in the top right corner of the screen.
To go to the quick settings panel, tap
in the top right corner of the screen.
To go back to the notifications panel, tap
in the top right corner of the screen.
