RT70 Operator’s Manual

Prepare Equipment

Assemble Accessories

Fire Extinguisher

Clamp a fire extinguisher near the power unit but

away from possible points of ignition where

shown. The fire extinguisher should always be

classified for both oil and electric fires. It should

meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Counterweights

Install counterweights as needed for attachment. See “Counterweights” on page 125.

NOTICE:

Do not drill into ROPS to mount

extinguisher.

Tipover. Crushing can cause death or serious injury.

Follow procedure in operator’s manual. Drive cautiously.

To help avoid injury:

Use attachments or counterweights to make front and rear loads balance when all

attachments are raised. Contact your Ditch Witch dealer about counterweighting for your equipment.
