RT70 Operator’s Manual

Trencher Procedures

9. Loosen plug on grease cylinder or turn

tension bolts (shown) counterclockwise to

relieve chain tension.

10. Stand clear of chain and remove lock key

from connector pin.

11. Drive connector pin out of link.
12. Unclamp links. Slowly release cable and

lower chain to ground.

13. Lay chain on ground with teeth down.

Raised component.

Crushing can cause death or serious

injury. Stay away. Use correct

equipment and procedures.
