• Bring the machine immediately to the nearest service location if it is not functioning
properly, is missing parts, has fallen down, been damaged, or become wet.
• Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
• Do not insert any objects into the suction opening and keep it free from other items
that may impair the suction power.
• Make sure that hair, loose pieces of clothing, or you yourself do not come into contact
with the vents or moving parts of the machine.
• Only connect the machine to proper and grounded connections (see: Cord
Connection).
ATTENTION! In order to not overload this dust vacuum system under a heavy
workload, you should always check the amount of dust to be vacuumed. Because
demands on the machine vary in different types of work, it is necessary to adjust
the maintenance to the demands.
Safety is achieved through expertise, constant carefulness during work and knowledge
of your machine.
BEFORE USING YOUR VACUUM SYSTEM:
ATTENTION! IN ORDER TO PREVENT MISTAKES, WHICH COULD LEAD TO SERIOUS
ACCIDENTS OR PERMANENT DAMAGE, DO NOT CONNECT THE MACHINE TO
THE POWER GRID BEFORE YOU HAVE CORRECTLY PERFORMED THE FOLLOWING
STEPS:
1. Assembly and set-up of the machine.
2. Learn the correct operation and function of the ON/OFF switch.
3. Read and follow all of the safety instructions and operating instructions in the ope-
rating manual.
4. Read and follow all instructions located on the top and bottom sides of the filter
housing and motor housing.
BEFORE EVERY USE:
1. Check the suction system. If parts are missing or bent or if electric parts do not func-
tion correctly, turn the device off. Replace broken, faulty or missing parts prior to
using the device again.
2. Do not work imprudently in order to protect your eyes, hands, face and hearing.
a. Wear protective glasses (not made of glass) that meet the CE norm. In the course of
work on and with machines, foreign objects can be flung into the eyes and cause
serious permanent injuries. The use of glass eye glasses or protective glasses that
do not meet the CE norm can lead to eye injuries from splinters of glass or broken
pieces of the glasses.
b. Wear dust protection when changing the dust collection bag.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND KEEP THEM READY AT HAND.
