Next, navigate to the CONTROL menu, select TEMPERATURE and click on the FAN SPEED 1 

menu item. Turn it up to maximum and return out of the menu and the Part Cooling Fan on 

the side of the extruder should spin up. Once you have confirmed that this is working, return 

the FAN SPEED 1 value to 0. 

 

Next, Navigate to the CONTROL menu, Click on TEMPERATURE and select NOZZLE and turn 

the temperature up to 50 degrees. Return to the front screen to confirm that the nozzle 

begins heating up. Do the same for the BED to confirm that the bed begins to heat up 

correctly. 

 

Next, navigate to the PREPARE menu, select MOVE AXIS, and work your way through MOVE 

X, MOVE Y and MOVE Z, 1mm at a time to confirm that the motion axis are all moving 

correctly. 

 

We have now established that the motion axis, heaters and part cooling fan are all 

connected correctly and are in working order.  

 

This concludes the assembly and initial diagnostics of the 3D Printer. Please proceed to fully 

read and follow the Wombot Drafter User Manual for troubleshooting, calibration, tuning and
