Pivot the Z Top Mounts upward to make room for the assembly to align correctly and bring 

the assembled X axis you just completed up to the frame. Locate the Flexible couplers onto 

the shafts of the Z Motors making sure that one of the Grub Screws in each coupler aligns 

with the flat on the stepper motor shaft. Locate and push fit the smooth rods into the 

corresponding holes in the Z Motor Mount and push them in firmly from the top. Temporarily 

tighten the grub screws on each coupler, securing them to the flat on the motor shafts. 

 

 

 

Using one M5 x 12mm Bolts and one Flat Washer, Secure the LEFT SIDE Z Top Mount in place, 

making sure that it is squarely mounted to the vertical rail. When mounted correctly, the
