Now fit the X Idler Mount to the other end of the smooth rods paying particular attention to
the orientation of each component. The Smooth Rods should be a tight fit so that there is no
slop or play once assembled. If they are too tight a fit, carefully use an 8mm drill bit on low
speed in your cordless drill to clean the holes being careful not to damage the ends of the
holes in the X Motor or X idler Assemblies:
Now take the remaining two 430mm long smooth rods and trapezoidal lead screws you
prepared earlier and fit them to the X Motor and X Idler assemblies as per the following
image:
