It is now time to fit the Y Axis (Bed) Belt System, set the final positions of the Bed Rails, Y Motor 

and Y Idler and fit the Heated Bed Assembly. Please carefully note the dimensions in the 

following images – You can always adjust later to fine tune the alignment, but we 

recommend beginning with these dimensions and distances.

 

 

In your kit of parts, locate the following items:

Place your printer frame on it’s side so that you can access the underneath of the frame and 

fit the Y Axis GT2 Belt and GT2 Spring. Make a loop with the GT2 Belt and slot it into the Y Block 

as per the following image: 

 

 

 

Run the belt along the bed, pass it through the Y Motor (around the pulley) and back 

towards the Y Idler. Pass the Belt around the Y Idler pulley and back towards the Y Belt block. 

Make a loop and press fit the belt into the matching cavity in the Y Block as per the following 

images:
