Finally, fit the Extruder Knob by aligning the flat inside the Knob with the flat on the Extruder
Stepper Motor Shaft. Support the rear of the stepper motor with the Index and Middle fingers
of each hand while using your thumbs to force the Extruder Knob into position (It is a tight fit,
but it must be to avoid excessive play and avoid it coming off due to vibration:
At this time, it is highly recommended that you label each of the wires from
your extruder module, this will assist in fast wiring up at the end of the build.
Mark them as BLTouch Servo, BLTouch Endstop, Heater Cartridge, Nozzle
Thermistor, Hot End Fan, Turbo Fan and Extruder Stepper Motor.
If you are planning to run flexible materials such as TPE, TPU and Flex-PLA
type materials, we suggest that you read and follow the instructions in the
Drafter User Manual for tips on how to modify your MK10 Extruder to perform
properly at reasonably high speeds.
This completes the Extruder Module section of the manual. Please carefully put the
completed Extruder Module aside for later, making sure not to drop the assembly or place
any strain on any of the components.
