Next, route the cable loom from the X Motor toward the Motherboard enclosure at the same
point, however this time, remove the spiral wrap so that the unwrapped wires can join the
wires already in place, just below the enclosure, as per the following image. Insert the X
Motor Loom wires into the enclosure at the same point as the other cables (the X Motor loom
must only be held in place by the spiral wrap from the base frame loom so that it can move
freely as the Z Axis travels upward – it MUST NOT be cable tied to the Saddle):
Next, straighten the loom coming from the Heated Bed Assembly. Trim the SPIRAL WRAP
ONLY to the distance as indicated in the following image (do not cut the cables):
Bring the Heated Bed Wiring Loom up to the saddle. Place a dog-leg bend in the cables so
that once fitted, the loom points upward toward the Motherboard Enclosure creating an
upward loop which will allow free travel of the bed and make sure that it does not interfere
with any other components during movement of the bed during printing.
