5.4.8. Joining
After the welding pressure build-up press the stop watch and keep control handle on position <forwards>
for about 10 seconds in order that the hydro memory can fill up.
During the cooling readjust pressure if necessary (cooling pressure = adjusted aligning pressure).
After the cooling time has elapsed, release pressure, control handle on position <Pressure release>.
In case welding has been carried out with additional cylinder, now remove the cylinder and put it on its
holder at the right side of the machine.
Release the clamping nuts and manually open the clamping tools.
Take out the welded pipe.
Close clamping tools and completely open machine tables, control handle on <backwards>.
Welding is completed.
5.5. How to weld angles
If welding angles, the welding surface of the pipe and thus the necessary pressure changes.
Calculate the necessary pressure as follows:

Take the prescribed value for adjusting or cooling from the table.

Multiply the pressure value with factor /cos (angle).
This will give the following factors:
Welding 15° (chamfered pipe with 7,5°): 1,01
Welding 22,5° (chamfered pipe with 11,25°): 1,02
Welding 30° (chamfered pipe with 15°): 1,04
Welding 45° (chamfered pipe with 22,5°): 1,08
Welding 60° (chamfered pipe with 30°): 1,15
Welding 90° T (chamfered pipe with 45°): 1,41
Welding 60 T (chamfered pipe with 60°): 2,00
Welding 45 T (chamfered pipe with 67,,5°): 2,61

Add the motional pressure as usual.
All the other welding parameters remain as usual.
