5.2 Hydraulic connection

Safety valve

A safety valve must be installed in the fresh water inlet.

The safety valve:

must not be shut off from fresh water storage tank,
must respond at the latest when the maximum permitted operating pressure of
the fresh water storage tank has been reached.

Weishaupt recommend the connection group WHI con-heat/aqua (accessory).
This contains:

safety valve,
drainage hose,
shut off valve,
non return cap,
and possibly a fresh water expansion vessel (optional).

Connect domestic installation

Connect central heating water pipework
If necessary fit sludge separator in the return line.
Fit safety valve to fresh water connection.
Connect fresh water pipes, observe local regulations (e. g. DIN 1988, EN 806).
If necessary, connect circulation group WHI circu with circulation lance (access-
ory) to the DHW connection
