TERMS AND ABBREVIATIONS USED IN THIS MANUAL
The ETM and its components are normally described as if the machine were mounted in its
normal position, i.e. with the keyboard facing the user. Thus the ticket outlet is on the left-hand
side. This rule is by no means rigid, and other terms may be used where they seem more
appropriate and the sense is obvious. Abbreviations used in this manual are listed in Table 1.
