WARNING:  THE EDGE OF THE BLADE INSIDE THE PRINTER 

IS POINTED AND CARE SHOULD BE EXERCISED 
WHEN REMOVING THE BLADE. 

 

(b) 

Lift  the  locking  piece  clear  to  free  the  blade  in  its  locating  slots.  
Manoeuvre the blade to free it from the locating slots in the bottom face 
of the printer chassis and then lift clear.

When refitting the blade (see Figure 17), ensure that the tabs on the end 
locate  in  the  cut-outs  correctly  before  fitting  the  blade  lock  over  the 
spigot,  into  the  rectangular  cut-out  and  over  the  edge  of  the  blade.  
Secure the blade lock using the nyloc nut and washer.
