6.1
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Although the ETM is designed to be virtually maintenance-free, a certain amount of regular
attention will help to keep the machine operating efficiently. A recommended schedule is given
in Table 3; but note that it may be advisable to carry out these procedures more frequently if the
machine operates in extreme conditions.

6.1.1 Exterior Cleaning
In addition to the intervals specified in Table 3, the exterior of the ETM should be cleaned
whenever the surrounding area is cleaned.
Clean the casing with a lint-free cloth dampened with a mild non-abrasive detergent, and then
wipe it dry using another such cloth dampened with water. Finally, dry the casing.
Take care to prevent liquids and foreign objects entering the machine during cleaning. Do not
use abrasives or scratch pads.
CAUTION
DO NOT USE ANY SOLVENTS ON THIS PRODUCT!
