THE MODULE HOUSING ASSEMBLY  

 
The  module  housing  assembly  mounts  onto  the  control  board  in  the  lower  cover.  The 
underside  of  the  housing  has  a  transparent  window  that  is  aligned  with  the  infra  red  power 
electronics on the control board. This provides power to the module when it is inserted into 
the  housing;  hence  the  housing  contains  no  electronics.  The  module  housing  assembly 
provides  a  means  of  latching  in  place  modules  that  have  been  inserted.  The  module  can  be 
released  by  pressing  the  button  on  the  front  (or  if  solenoid  locked  by  pressing  a  designated 
key on the keyboard to activate the solenoid to release the module).
