Chapter 5
Camera Control
This chapter guides you through performing camera control functions. For detailed
information, simply right-click the mouse and select
Help
at any time.
Changing the camera view
With the AppsView software you have the ability to maneuver your own camera, as
well as the camera at the site to which you are connected. For example, this can be
helpful when the far end speaker is referring to a whiteboard that is not within the
camera view. Instead of asking the speaker to change the camera angle, you can perform
that function from your own site.
Please note that not all systems support far end camera control, as some may have that
function disabled. Specifically, calls over LAN network (H.323 standard) do not
support this functionality.
Moving the camera
1.
When the mouse cursor is near the edges of the video window, use the mouse to
move the cursor to the far ends of the screen (the cursor will become an arrow).
Click the left mouse button to move the local camera up, down, left and right.
2.
Place the cursor near the center of the video window to zoom in or zoom out.
The cursor will change to a magnifying glass displaying a plus(+) sign indicating
zoom in mode or a minus(-) sign indicating zoom out mode.
