Removing and installing bulb carrier
Note
The removal and installation procedure is described for the left-
hand side. The removal and installation procedure for the right-
hand side is basically the same.
Removing
– Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers, and withdraw
ignition key.
– Remove tail light in side panel
⇒ page 86

– Push catches -arrows- outwards and remove bulb carrier -1-
from tail light housing.
Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal, observing the following:
Note
When installing bulb carrier, make sure that all catches engage
audibly.

Removing and installing tail light bulb -
M2- / -M4-
Note
The removal and installation procedure is described for the left-
hand side. The removal and installation procedure for the right-
hand side is basically the same.
Removing
– Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers, and withdraw
ignition key.
– Remove tail light bulb carrier in side panel

– Push rear light bulb -2- into holder, turn anti-clockwise and pull
upwards out of bulb carrier -6-.
Bulb for rear light : filament bulb 12V, P21/4W
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
