Recording modes
In
addition
to
specifying
individual
track
size,
the
recording
mode
must
be
specified
individually
for
each
camera
as
well.
The
basic
SmartDisc 10IP
distinction
is
between
permanent
(long-term)
recording
and
event
triggered
recording.
Both
modes
can
be
set
for
the
same
camera.
Switching
between
modes
is
controlled
by
an
integrated
timer
module.
The

Flexible storage
space allocation
The
illustration
above
shows
flexible
storage
capacity
allocation
for
permanent
recording
and
event
triggered
recording.
On
the
basis
of
set
recording
parameters,
SmartControl
or
SmartControl PRO
software
calculate
the
required
storage
capacity.
The
calculated
values
are
estimates,
actual
values
may
deviate
due
to
changes
in
actual
image
data
volume,
proportion
of
motion,
and
selected
resolution
being
considered.
