3.6 Channel
Plans
3.6.1 New Channel Plan Name
Use the
New Plan Name
field to create a unique Channel Plan Name. Once created, the Channel Plan
parameters can be revised in the Channel Plan page under the Edit/Copy/Delete Channel Plans section.
The following frequency bands and existing default Channel Plans, from which to choose, are listed
below:

3.6.1 Channel Name
This entry field provides the means to create a new
Channel Name
. This set of fields allows you to enter
a
Channel Name
, a
Band Width
(
BW
) and a channel
Frequency
, expressed in MHz. To add an
alternate channel, click the button. Select the
Save Changes
button to create the New Channel Plan.
3.6.2 Edit/Copy/Delete Channel Plans
These fields display the existing Channel Plan names with an
Edit
button that allows you to modify the
listed plans including bandwidth and frequency. You are able to hide a channel plan using the Hide
button.
The HDR-5000 system allows selection of 1 of 4 frequency ranges (S, C2, or C4). Each frequency range
is coupled to work with a single BDC type and each frequency range will have its own default Channel
Plan. You may choose to create your own custom channel plan for these 4 bands. Each custom channel
plan allows up to 50 channels.
To revise, delete or copy existing plans, you can select a
Channel Name
adding a
Band Width
(
BW
) and
a channel
Frequency
, expressed in MHz. To add an alternate channel, click the button. To delete a
listed channel, use the
button. Select the
Save Changes
button to create the revised
Channel Plan
.
To copy an existing plan, click the
Copy Plan
button.
