3.3.3 Unit Control Status Page (Dashboard)
The HDR-5000 Unit Control Status page (a.k.a. Dashboard) displays first when you type valid credentials
in the Login page to access the HDR-5000 Web interface. There are nine sections for the Unit Control
page shown and described below:

Preset

Channel Plan

Channel

Encryption Key

Block Downconverter

Network

Signal to Noise Ratio [dB]

Modulation Metrics

TSoIP 1 & 2
Preset Name
This field shows the name of the current preset. Use the drop-down to select an alternate preset using the
Apply Preset button. You can use the Presets page to edit or create and unlimited range of presets.
To access the Presets page and edit Presets definitions, from the Dashboard (Status Home page): Select
Setup (located in the top menu) and then select Presets (located in the menu on the left side of screen).
3.3.4 Channel Plan
This field displays the current Channel Plan name. You can select an alternate channel plan for any
preset by using the
Channel Plan drop-down displayed in the Presets page. You can also create a new
channel plan using the Channel Plan Web interface page.
To access the Channel Plan page and edit Channel Plan definitions, from the Dashboard page: Select
Setup (located in the top menu) and then select Channel Plans (located on left side of screen).
3.3.5 Channel
This field displays the current Channel name, bandwidth and frequency. You are able to select an
alternate channel for the current preset by using the
Set Channel drop-down displayed in the Dashboard
page. You can also create a new channel using the Channel Plan Web interface page under the
Edit/Copy/Delete Channel Plans section.
3.3.6 Encryption Key
The Encryption Key displays the current Encryption name and type. You are able to select an alternate
Encryption Key for the current preset by using the
Set Key drop-down displayed in the Dashboard page.
You can also create a new Encryption Key using the Encryption Web interface page under the Edit
Encryption Definition section.
To access the Encryption page and Edit Encryption Definitions, from the Dashboard page: Select Setup
and then select Encryption Keys from the left side menu.
3.3.7 BDC
The Block Downconverter section of the Dashboard page displays the BDC name, model, frequency
range and local oscillator frequency. The BDC parameters for the preset can be edited in the BDC Web
interface page under the Edit BDC Definition section.
To access the Block Downconverter page and edit Block Downconverter definitions, from the Dashboard
(Status Home page): select
Setup (located in the top menu) and then select BDC from the left side menu.
