VISION 2310B INSTRUCTION MANUAL

OTHER VEHICLE DOOR LOCK SCHEMES:

TYPE-A

  Most American made vehicles use (+) Positive control “Type A” 

door locks.  Type-A vehicles have 3 wires at the master door lock switch.  

Probe  the  3  wires  and  you  should  find  one 

constant

  (+)12v  wire,  and  the 

other two wires will show (+)12v only when the switch is pressed.  

The 2310 

can  interface  with  Type-A  only  with  the  use  of  a  pair  of  optional 

VISION

relays (which need to be used to invert the polarity from – to +).
