General Troubleshooting
This section can help the operator when a problem arises. It gives basic guidelines if something on
the woodchipper is not working correctly. If the procedures in this section do not solve the
problem, the owner should contact the Victory Service department for assistance.

The flywheel stops, but the
tractor does not.
PTO shaft shear bolt has broken. Replace shear bolt in PTO shaft.
Find the cause and solve the
problem.
The flywheel turns but has
low woodchip output.
The flywheel chamber is
clogged.
Open and clean the flywheel
chamber.
Not chipping clean or chip
deflector plugging.

Flywheel knives are dull.
•
Chipper's head is turning too
slowly.
•
Sharpen or replace knives.
•
Check PTO speed. It must be
540 rpm.

Use extreme caution when working in the flywheel area. Avoid contact
with the flywheel knives. The knives are incredibly sharp.

Wear heavy leather gloves.
