4.2 PTZ Function

Click “PTZ function” button and the interface is shown as below.
Users can set or call up a Preset, Scan, Auto tour or Tour; Autoscan
and auto Flip functions are done from this interface.
Refer to Section 3.6.1 to 3.6.5 for the setting of Preset, Scan, Auto
tours and Tour in the system setting interface.
The dome supports 255 presets, 4 auto tours, 4 scans and 6 groups of
tour (maximum 14 actions in each tour).
4.3 Mouse Operation
The Surveyor MKII HD Network Domes can be controlled via the
mouse. On the video screen, right-click the mouse to display the
dialog box shown below.
Click “Turn On PTZ” option to select it.

When the option “Turn On PTZ” is selected, as shown in Figure 4-4,
click “Area Zoom”, which allows the zoom and centered functions
of video by dragging the frame with mouse. Click somewhere of the
selected area with the mouse, the target area will be centered on the
video display screen.

When the option “Turn On PTZ” is selected, click “Vector Dragging”,
which controls the operation of PTZ dome by moving the left key of
mouse.
As shown below, after clicking “Turn On PTZ” option and clicking
“Vector Dragging”, left click the mouse without releasing and drag it
for a certain distance until a blue line with arrowhead is drawn. The
dome will move in the direction of the arrowhead. The longer the line
is, the faster the dome moves. When the mouse click is released, the
dome stops moving.

Under “Area Zoom” and “Vector Dragging” status, roll the scroll
wheel forward to zoom in the video and backward to zoom out the
video.
When the “Turn On PTZ” option is selected, click “Full Screen” to
display the video in full screen. Click the “Full Screen” button again
to cancel the full screen display.
